anyway does the matter of ranking really matter at all? It seems kind of pointless cause it is just work that is done that has to be redone over and over each time we reach the limit of rankings.

It's just a nice little cosmetic thing that we have.

It doesn't matter if it's there or not, but it is, so we should take advantage of it.
