The Family

"Did you even hear what I asked you Nefnee?" Zig said as they approached the down town sector and chuckled slightly at the words of the lyrics in the song.

"What? Oh... yeah that's good." Nefnee seemed flustered. "Sorry, I... zoned out." She looked out the window again.

"Its fine. Are you alright?" Zig asked as they pulled up to Sonic and he parked the car.

"Oh yeah!" Nefnee opened the door and hopped out. "Soo... are you getting anything?" she asked as she latched onto him.

"Probably a drink and fries and maybe a shake. Now what about you? you said you were hungry so what would you like?" Zig asked wrapping his arm around her waist and kissing her forehead as they walked up to the counter.

"Oh I'll have... uh..." She looked at the cashier. "...bacon cheeseburger with everything on it." Nefnee licked her lips. "And a cherry limeade... thing?" She pulled Zig close.

Alright then will that be all? the cashier asked

"Yeah that will be all." Zig said as he handed over the money to the cashier and then took the drinks and slushie and took it over to the seats and then went back to get the rest of the food and then sat down at the table with Nefnee.

"So... your dad's Magneto! What's that like, man?" Nefnee said before taking a big bite out of her burger.

"It can be a little annoying at times. Because most people thing you are evil, when all you want to do is become a mechanic and live a normal life, and have a family. But when every one things you are evil like your dad.. doesn't really help you know?" Zig said taking a drink from his Dr. Pepper.

"Makes sense. Fortunately Chuck Norris isn't evil. But having God as a father is hard too. Everyone expects you to be perfect blah blah blah. And apparently we are supposed to have god-like powers, right? Not me... not yet. We four sisters make a lot of trouble anyway." Nefnee kicked off her shoes and put her feet up on the chair next to Zig.

Zig began to massage her feet. "Have you tried to see if you have any god like powers?" Zig asked

"Oh." Nefnee smiled. "No... not really. Like every kid, I've tried to fly! And failed. But I'm not sure what powers I would have."

"Well I'm not sure you fly. Last I checked god didn't fly, he teleports. I take it you haven't tried that have you?" Zig asked taking another sip and continued his massage on Nefnee's feet.

"Nooooo..." Nefnee closed her eyes for a while and pushed her feet into Zig's lap. "How do I do th- wait! I remember something!" Nefnee's eyes lit up and looked at the cash register across the room. She began to glare and squint at it.

"Hmm?" Zig said just watching Nefnee and trying to figure out what she was doing.

Nefnee sighed. "Not working... ok remember your car? I think I might have made it spaz like that! But I'm not sure." Nefnee sighed again and took a few more big bites of her burger.

"Ah ok." Zig said and continued to massage Nefnee's feet and took a drink from his soda. "So when we finish here do you want me to just take you home?" Zig asked Nefnee

Nefnee said nothing. Instead, she took her foot and moved it up the inside of Zig's leg.

"Is that suppose to be a hint that you just want me to continue this massage? Or is is suppose to be a hint that you want something more then this massage?" Zig asked with a slight smirk on his face.

"What do you think?" Nefnee jumped up, threw her trash away, and scurried towards the door.

Zig went off after her. "I'll take the second option since you seem to be in a hurry to get out of here. The only question I have for you now is where would you like me to go?" he smirked as they got into the car.

"It's your turn to choose!" Nefnee said, leaning across Zig to tease him. She returned with his seatbelt and put it in then buckled herself in too.

"I suppose it is then. Hmm how about my place then?" Zig asked heading off in the direction of his house.

"Ohoho sounds great!" Nefnee turned up the radio and bounced to the music.

"Alright then." Zig said heading off to his house and arrived in about fifteen mins later.
