You Know You're In Marching Band When...

• You hear music and you start marking time.
  
• The bottom of your pants are never dry.
  
• Every time you hear a whistle you scream, "HUT!"
  
• You walk beside a person and get in step with them.
  
• Walking behind a person, you find yourself yelling, "left, left, LEFT, LEFT! LEFT! LEFT!!!"
  
• Waiting in line, you randomly raise your hand and yell, "Cover Down!"
  
• You yell at the football players to get off the band field.
  
• You know more cheers than the cheerleaders.
  
• You've never actually paid to go to a home football game.
  
• You've gone to every home game since the start of freshman year, but never actually watched one.
  
• You knock over football players because they won't get off the 30 yard line.
  
• The "most played" music on your iPod is the show music.
  
• The practice rooms are your favorite hangout spot.
  
• You know that many people come to the games just to see the band.

or something like that.

Yes, but in all reality there is actually an 8th position on the trombone but it is just considered an extension of the 7th position, or so i've been told by my middle school band teacher.

But that was funny. Your instrument's prolly the hardest, trying to remember all the positions... :}
