| National Honor Society Application Essay -bleep- October 30, 2007
National Honor Society promotes four ideal—scholarship, leadership, character, and service. Members should display these ideals. I believe I meet these ideals through my activities at Annapolis High School and in my community. This essay will outline how I demonstrate each ideal.
I show the ideal of scholarship through my activities at Annapolis High School. I have a current cumulative GPA of 3.88 as of June 2007. I achieved honor roll all four grading periods of my freshman year. I was named a scholar athlete during spring baseball season. I am taking pre-IB courses and AP classes at -bleep- High School. I am also active in band and sports teams, JV football and JV baseball, at the school.
I show leadership in these ways. I was a volunteer staff member at the Four Rivers District Cub Scout Camp in June 2007. I was in charge of the firing range for BB gun training. I worked with a team of staff members to supervise and train approximately 300 Cub Scouts in safe use of BB guns during the weeklong camp. In my Boy Scout troop, I have held leadership positions. These have included patrol leader and quartermaster. Both of these positions allowed me to contribute to the smooth operations for the troop. On the JV Football team, I am currently a team captain, providing leadership to the team. During my freshman year, I attended a leadership forum with -bleep-. Mr. -bleep-, band director, nominated me and others to attend the forum. In addition, I will be attending the National Youth Leadership Forum for National Security in Washington, DC in February 2008.
National Honor Society members should exemplify good character. I demonstrate the character traits of honesty and integrity through my interactions with others. I belong to organizations which promote good character. These include Boy Scouts of America, Navy Junior ROTC, and my church youth group, WCBC Youth Elevate.
Last of all, I demonstrate service through several activities. I am a member of Boy Scouts of America, Troop 382 of -bleep-. I have worked on several service projects with the troop at -bleep-, planting native plants. The troop also assists in a food drive for My Brother’s Pantry each fall. I have helped with collecting food as well as stocking the pantry shelves. I am also active with Navy Jr. ROTC at -bleep- High School. I have worked on foreign object detail with the unit here at AHS. This provides a service to the school. Lastly, I am active with WCBC Youth Elevate, the youth group at Weems Creek Baptist Church. We do various service projects for the church during the year such as Spring Car Wash and fall building clean up.
This essay has discussed how I show the four ideals of the National Honor Society—scholarship, leadership, character, and service. I think I am a good candidate for membership in National Honor Society based on my demonstrated evidence of these characteristics.
(wow... why is this in here?)

| also as an added bonus, ive got an entire naval fleet under construction as we speek, it will involve, 300 battleships, 400 destroyers, 500 heavy cruisers under consruction, the battleships are each 5,000 feet long and weigh 13 billion tons. they will each have 20 305 inch cannons their its primary armament, 30 250 inch cannons, 40 200 inch cannons as an alternate, and a cruising speed of 55 knots. it will cost $300 trillion to build the naval fleet. but as with the M.A.R.V. that wont be a problem. these battleships can hurl a shell as far as you need, provided, you have a forward observer on hand. the desroyers will be 4,000 feet long weigh 350 million tons and have a cruising speed of 100 knots. it will be equiped with 10 150 inch cannons as primary fire, 20 100 inch cannons as secondary, and 50 50 inch cannons as alternate. the heavy cruisers will weigh 300 thousand tons be 3000 feet long and have a cruising speed of 200 knots, they will be armed with 10 100 inch cannons as primary, 20 50 inch cannons as secondary, and 30 25 inch cannons as alternate.
the fleets battle-name will be "doomsday fleet"

| meet Team FOR THE WIN...! the all-new superteam comprised of the strongest, smartest, powerfulest, most boredest group of friends in my calc II class! 8D
Fistlicious--a ninja/samuri/kung-fu/karate/math-wiz with an x-wing-fighter helmet, who uses a combination of black belt degrees and unnatural AP scores to obliterate enemies on both a physical and mental plane!!
Telekinetica--the sultry sultaness of sound... the sound of oboes through your SKULL that is!! using telekinetic powers, she pelts opponents with unwanted band equipment and creates flowing vortexes of air that toss her annoyingly long hair with unparalleled grace!!
W00t--an agile archer and algebra enthusist, her plethora of belts and pouches will leave foes so confounded as to their possible contents and functions, that she has time to loose a dozen arrows--and calculate the rate of their declining air-speed-velocity with respect to time!!
...--aka Ellipsis--the wonderous witch of a thousand spells, most chanted in the melodious language of logrithmic functions!! but watch out that she doesn't unleash her ultimate weapon; taking the limit of 1/x as x approaches ZERO!!
!--aka Factorielle--with the ability to draw power from an infinite series, she'll pummel you with the super strength of e to the power of avagadro's number squared, and integrate your FACE with respect to the PAVEMENT!!
Dr. Epsilon--the mysterious and brilliant leader of the team!! a perfect fusion of Chuck Norris and a sweet but slightly senile calculus professor, Dr. Epsilon explains each mission using complicated and mostly-useless theoretical proofs, and then causes the instructions to self-destruct by ROUNDHOUSE KICKING THE CHALKBOARD TO SMITHEREENS!!
so never fear, citizens and calculus students, for Team FTW...! is here..... FOR THE WIN!!!!
.... this was on my dA. hmmm. | |

| Don't roleplay other people's characters unless specifically asked. You can't get inside their heads. You can't know what they're going to do. It's rude, presumptuous, and annoying. | |
